
Andres Sala

Andres Sala Jr. was born in Valencia, Venezuela. He started playing golf at the age of 4 in his native country and promptly fell in love with the game.
After competing in hundreds of junior tournaments, Andres was offered a golf scholarship at Florida International University. After a successful college career, Andres continued playing golf at the professional level. During the next 10 years after after college, Andres played in the South American tour, European Challenge tour and various Mini tours in the United States. His playing career came to an end after many injuries.
Andres stepped away from the game for a couple of years but he decided it was too hard be away from his passion. That is when he decided to go back to the place that taught him the game and became an instructor. In 2020 he became a Leadbetter Instructor where he now shares his knowledge and passion of the game to fellow students.

Brock Ortega

Brock Ortega started his passion for golf at the age of six as a way to spend time with his father at their local country club in the small town of Green River, Wyoming. Growing up surrounded and obsessed with the game, he started playing competitively on amateur and junior golf tours.
During the harsh Wyoming winters, his family would escape to the sunshine state of Florida. It was at this time that he knew his future would be in golf. While attending FGCU in Fort Myers, he discovered that teaching the game is the way he wanted to pursue his future in golf. As a part of the team at The Leadbetter Golf Academy in Naples, Brock brings an incredible passion for the game as well as a desire to be better and help others achieve their goals

Greg Weston
Certified Instructor
Originally, from Akron, Ohio Greg began playing golf at the age of 15 and after a successful junior golf career, attended the University of Akron from 1991-1994 until he accepted the job as Director of Instruction at American Sports in Toledo, Ohio.
In 1995 Greg took a position in a little warmer climate, Naples, Florida, and he and Michelle, his wife of 19 years, have called the tropical paradise home ever since.
In 2000 and 2001, Greg played on mini-tours where he was first introduced to the David Leadbetter style of instruction. After his playing career ended, he went back to his first love of teaching.
Greg is now the Academy Director of The Leadbetter Golf Academy at the Leadbetter Golf Academy of Naples. The Naples Academy has been a staple in South Florida golf instruction for over 20 years all the while successfully working with students of all ages and abilities.

Santiago Mari
Certified Instructor
Santiago Mari-Garcia was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico in 1980. He turned pro at the age of 19 and became a Class A Member of the PGA of America in 2004. He has spent the last 18 years acquiring unmatched experience in all aspects of the golf game learning from the best in each field, from golf equipment design and development to the golf swing and golf instruction. He made his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Materials of Engineering. Following his Masters Studies in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Germany, specializing in Biomechanics.
Santiago had the opportunity to be exposed to the worlds best players while working as an Assistant Golf Professional at Lake Nona Golf and CC, where he started working with Top Professional Golfers from all major golf tours worldwide on their golf equipment. His experience and expertise kept growing through the years and then he joined the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in 2003 as Director of Club fitting and Golf Equipment, in Championsgate, FL. Here Santiago expanded his knowledge of Professional and Amateur Golf as well as the testing and requirements needed to make top quality and high performance golf equipment. His reputation kept growing and he became the ‘Go To’ person when it came to anything golf equipment related for the best golfers in the world. During this time working with David and the DLGA Team, Santiago learned from the best instructors in golf as well as the best players in the world, working with both top Men and Women golfers, including the winners of many PGA Tour events and major tournaments on all professional circuits.
During the last few years, Santiago has been fortunate to work in development projects and golf academies in different countries, working with top players and creating new technologies used in different golf club heads for different brands holding a some pattents in the industry. Now in 2018, Santiago, our Golf Club Engineer and Golf Instructor, is Located at The Leadbetter Golf Academy in Naples and Miami, Florida.
